Simon Porte Jacquemus is a true artist…
A rare bird in the world of fast fashion and someone who’s eponymous label, Jacquemus, draws me in as my sense of style develops. I’ve always prided myself in having a flair for the unexpected, which often translates to something a little kooky! Even as a kid, I loved being the one who did things like no one else - and while now, as a fan and a follower of fashion itself, I love to follow trends and Jacquemus satisfies my craving for that element of surprise.
So I feel like a proper lady in this outfit, but still true to my relaxed sensibilities. I know I’ve mentioned this before…I’m never usually one to wear anything that shows my shoulders, but the asymmetry and ring detail of this top is just so beautiful, I can’t help but feel confident wearing it. I dressed it down with some mum jeans and back up again with these incredible Ashvi earrings (a fun new discovery!) and classic style pumps from Maryam Nassir Zadeh - this is a look that takes me from day to night easily. I genuinely feel fabulous in this outfit. Such a win!
I was fortunate enough to bring you this post thanks to my friends at Farfetch and I was thrilled when they approached me because, well, FASHION - but also because it’s the place online where you can find hard-to-reach items and boutique labels. In case you didn’t know, Farfetch is actually a community of over 400 rarely selected and independent boutiques around the world. It’s one of my favourite places to procrastinate online, searching out new designers and rare pieces from big names. The selection of handbags is pretty thrilling! Thanks so much Farfetch for, once again, introducing some new fabulous pieces in my life.
