What I love about smaller pieces of jewellery is the surprise of an elegant detail hidden at first glance. I’m sure you have spotted me wearing By Charlotte on my blog before.

Charlotte is a longtime friend and we’ve known one another for probably ten years - working as model and make-up artist together on photoshoots way back. I remember laying eyes on her very first pieces - the prototypes of what was to come - I was struck by their quality, beauty, and elegance. I guess her eye for detail as a make-up artist has really comes across in her collections today, becoming favourites of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle and loved much by supermodels like Miranda Kerr, Jessica Hart, and Lara Bingle.

So grateful that Charlotte invited me to share with you her new collection, Empress, which is inspired by her recent travels to India and set in 9kt and 14kt solid gold and crystals.
