Everyone loves a good smoothie recipe and I have just the one for you to get those extra greens in!
This recipe is perfect for a mid-morning snack or afternoon pick me up! I like to have this after the gym as it’s super refreshing and full of energy.
On another note, young ones don’t typically like anything healthy and green but I made this for my 12 and 16 year old cousins and BOOM – they loved it!
Mon’s Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- Handful of Spinach
- Slice of Pineapple
- 1 Cucumber
- Half a Lemon
- Handful of kale
- Coconut water or water
- Ice
Procedure
Place all ingredients into the blender and blend. I use a Nutribullet but any blender should do. ENJOY
TIP: Re-use a washed out jar so you can take your greens on the run.
