We’re a good way through NYFW by now and it’s been a thrill-a-minute kind of ride.
In case you missed it, I’m here in New York working with Matches Fashion to share with you all the most beautiful collections the season has to offer. Derek Lam was a highlight for me - beautiful flowing length and details to die for, specifically that elongated cuff which I’m sure is something we’ll be seeing a lot more of - and the conical style heel, something a little newer that I’m loving. Those low heel, laced up booties are my new must have, I can’t express to you all how happy I am that the heel trend has discontinued that exercise in elevation. Just not practical! I’m not comfortable being 6’5 either, I’m too awkward.
So wonderful to see Derek Lam in motion this season, those long proportions are everything.
