I know how popular that beach loving bohemian aesthetic is - you only have you check out instababes like Mimi Elashiry to see the appeal. While I love the look - especially editorially (here and here) it’s pretty tough to work into my wardrobe.

It’s amazing how a hot-as-hell getaway will change your mind about your own style. These photos were taken in Dubai’s textile market - where I perused the stalls with my fellow fashion blogger alumni and discussed how much we wanted to buy everything! Trouble is, you always buy the harem pants or floaty patterned shirt and then bring them home, where they just feel so wrong. This is the essence of holiday dressing! It is it’s own special genre. It’s like we all become different characters when we travel to different places. I love that idea!

I can’t wait to share more of my trip with all of you, I got some of the best photos I’ve ever snapped in the desert. Unfortunately there’s quite alot I can’t share with you yet - because of course we were there all filming Season 2 of Fashion Bloggers. Guys… this season is going to be so so so GOOD! I’m sorry again if you’re unable to check out the show, hopefully tthere’ll be a way to view it online one day. Right now it’s showing in 120 countries though! Season 1 is currently airing on E! in France.
