I know that Woodstock was technically in the 60’s (1969) but I couldn’t resist using some imagery for this - I’m fascinated by that festival. Have you guys seen the documentary ‘Woodstock’? It’s such a wonderful portrait of the revolution of that time. The pieces in collection were certainly more refined than what people would have probably worn then too - but I love the idea of shooting an editorial with these clothes in that setting. Ideas for Coachella or Burning Man!!
I say this every season for Zimmermann - but this is my favourite collection to date. Nicky and Simone are a wonder team and it makes me very proud to be part of the Australian fashion industry when I see the quality and effort that goes into every piece.
