Slightly elated to finally share with you Part 1 of a project I’ve been working on prior to leaving overseas - my latest campaign for iconic Australian label Charlie Brown. I was given an incredible opportunity by the team behind the label - to not only shoot the campaign - but concept and style the whole shoot too. Such a rare and exciting chance for me to really share a vision in it’s entirety! So what did I do? Well - Charlie Brown is a label thats been firmly cemented in the Australian fashion scene for over 15 years - with models like Linda Evangelista and Helena Christiansen representing the brand on the catwalk - I could see that the label represented the kind of woman who exuded cool confidence and daring. I took these 90’s glamazons as my reference (of course!) as well as the use of tele-lenses made popular by one of my favourite 90’s photographers, Hans Feurer - and built my concept from there. I can’t thank Charlie Brown enough for taking a chance on me and giving me the confidence to create this campaign. It’s been the best!!! I hope you can agree - we make a great match. This concept has been a dream of mine and Charlie’s collection works perfectly.
Thanks so much for Lia at NAC for all her help and encouragement on this - as well as the incredibly talented Max May of MaxMade for bringing the 90’s look with a sexy modern edge… amazing hair huh?
