Keepin' it simple when the humidity rises.

If I'm ever asked what my absolute favourite pieces in my wardrobe are... I get a little stumped. I'd love to be a good fashion blogger and be like... my YSL purse, my Josh Goot skirt, my Ellery heels... but really, the value of my favourite few pieces could probably total around 50 dollars. This grey t-shirt, bought from an opshop, feels like its been slept in a few dozen times... my boyfriend jeans, from Kmart... a couple vintage pieces I paid next to nothing for. I can't really explain it other than to say the simple worn in comfort makes me happy - and while I can obsess over stunning designer pieces as much as the next fashion fiend, I'll always have a great love affair with worn in basics. Like an old friend in your wardrobe.
Now to completely contradict myself - how fun is this Magdalena Velevska skirt! Haha! Wearing white again, something I should never really be trusted with - but it really feels so fresh in this tropical heat. Once again I'm paring down something designer to be more casual. Hope you don't mind a few extra tropical summer outfits? Margaret and I were shooting so much - and packed so much with us - it seemed to make sense to change clothes between shooting editorials and everything else. Think we managed a couple weeks worth of fun content in our too-short stay at beautiful Sri Panwa.
